‘Christmas with the Crackers’ benefit for Toys for Tots

December 4, 2013

HONESDALE, PA — Wayne County’s Americana-roots band The Crackers will host its second annual “Christmas with the Crackers” benefit concert to help support Toys for Tots of Wayne and Pike counties on Friday, December 6 from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Cooperage, 1030 Main St. The event also will feature performances by country duo The Stantons, eclectic accordionist Doug Rogers and his band the Hoy Polloy, and rising bluegrass stars, the Coal Town Rounders.

Admission costs $10, or one new unwrapped toy (worth $10 or more) per person over 16. Last year’s effort garnered 300 toys and more than $1,000 in donations. There will again be raffle baskets supplied by local businesses, and cookies and coffee will be available for sale.

For information or to help sponsor the event with a donation, contact The Crackers via email at crackersthe@gmail.com or call 570/642-1410.
