MILFORD, PA — The Ecumenical Food Pantry of Pike County will host a reading of the play “Billy the Boy Queen” by Michael Buchanan, featuring Joseph Fuqua at the Milford Theatre on Sunday, November 24 at 2 p.m. All proceeds will go to the food pantry.
At present, the Ecumenical Food Pantry of Pike County serves approximately 68 families or 245 individuals a week with an average of seven new families or 25 individuals each week.
Buchanan, prominent designer, author and local resident, together with a troupe of local and national actors, will present “Billy the Boy Queen” featuring Fuqua, who starred as General J.E.B. Stuart in the movie “Gettysburg” with Martin Sheen, a role he later reprised in “Gods and Generals” with Robert Duvall.
Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased online at Milfordtheatre.com or at the door.
