LIBERTY, NY — Akira and Ellie Ohiso of Green Door Magazine have invited Andrea Brown and Elizabeth Ennis of The Outsider’s Studio Collective (OSC) to figuratively “bomb” their space at 34 S. Main St., cramming every wall, nook and cranny with portraits of people and their pets. It will be up to the viewer, faced with this universe of visages, to decide what all of these human and animal faces are thinking, feeling and talking about.

Ennis and Brown invite you to submit many original works for this show. The OSC has a reputation for “showing artists who work outside the fringes of traditional art.” Thus, submissions for this show, portraits of people or pets, should reflect that aesthetic. Pieces can be in any medium, any size, framed or unframed. The opening date for this show will be Saturday, January 18. “Crowd” is slated to remain in Green Door’s space for about two months.

Email images to Andrea Brown at a4aange@msn.com or mail images to Andrea Brown at 7151 County Highway 7, Roscoe, NY 12776. Along with the images, attach information pertaining to size and medium, as well as a brief artist statement about the submitted portraits. The deadline for submission is December 2.
