HONESDALE, PA — The band Sour Bridges will perform on Friday, October 18, at The Cooperage at 7:30 p.m. Sour Bridges features Honesdale boys Bill and Matt Pucci.
In just three years, Sour Bridges has become a fixture of the Austin, TX music scene. It has nailed a reputation as the region’s premiere indie-bluegrass band. It plays “browngrass”—a mildly crazed offspring of bluegrass—with mandolin, banjo and fiddle at full-throttle, high-lonesome vocal harmonies, and a feverish exuberance that Texas public radio described as “Americana gone wild.”
There will be chairs around the room for the listening crowd, but floor space is reserved for a footloose hootenanny. BYOB. Visit www.thecooperageproject.org or call 570/253-2020.
