LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Photographer Gloria Wagenknecht’s framed wildlife photographs will be on display at the Livingston Manor Library through the month of October. Wagenknecht’s work brings broad scenes of color and clarity to the library walls.
As a freelance photographer and poet, Wagenknecht’s greatest joy is being outdoors, attempting to capture the extraordinary beauty she observes in her subjects and the lush terrain of Sullivan County. Wagenknecht is also an active member of the Alchemy Club, a writers’ group that meets monthly at the Daniel Pierce Library in Grahamsville. Some of her photographs on display are accompanied by original poems. She resides in Loch Sheldrake and has shown her work at the Old Stone House of Hasbrouck, the Livingston Manor ArtWalk/ChalkWalk and the Audubon & Friends Art Shows in Livingston Manor. Call 845/439-5440. The library is located at 92 Main St., across from the firehouse.
