BETHEL, NY — Alpacas will be featured the Rosehaven Alpaca Festival, which is coming to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts as part of its 15th annual Harvest Festival series on Sunday, September 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The festival will also showcase spinners and weavers, the people who turn loose fiber into clothing. A boutique will also offer a range of alpaca-made goods.

Located in Callicoon, Rosehaven Alpacas is a 40-acre farm specializing in breeding and raising Huacaya alpacas for fiber in natural colors, particularly black and grey. With nearly a decade in the industry, Rosehaven offers alpaca sales, breeding, boarding, and startup consulting, and has an online store featuring plush alpaca products. Learn more at www.rosehavenalpacas.com.

Admission is free; parking costs $2. Pets are not allowed on the festival grounds. Visit www.bethelwoodscenter.org.
