MILFORD, PA – Free admission and a re-creation of Gifford Pinchot’s community ice cream social will be held at Grey Towers National Historic Site on Sunday, August 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Free visitor films will be shown throughout the day, including the film showing President John F. Kennedy’s September 24, 1963, dedication of Grey Towers. From 2 to 4 p.m., a free ice cream social, sponsored by the Grey Towers Heritage Association, will be held on the grounds. In lieu of a fee, the GTHA requests the donation of a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to a local food pantry.
