YOUNGSVILLE, NY — A new exhibit of paintings by Dr. Russell Asnes has arrived at Domesticities. The works range from domestic still life to portrait to political.

Proceeds will be donated to Doctors without Borders, the humanitarian relief organization which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999. Asnes works primarily with pastels and in watercolor. He has studied with John Eliot, noted artist and President of the Oil Pastel Association and United Pastelists of America. He was the recipient of the Hedi Lang Memorial award for Watercolor and the Anne Loftus Memorial Award for Best in Show at the Annual Exhibition of Arts Interaction in NYC.

The exhibit will be on display through July 15. For more information, visit www.thecuttinggarden.org or call 845/482-3333.
