HONESDALE, PA — “Concerts in the Coop” presents Grammy-award-winning French guitarist/composer Stephane Wrembel on Friday, April 26 at The Cooperage. The show starts at 9 p.m.; doors open at 8:15 p.m. BYOB. Donations will be collected at the door.

Wrembel, who learned his craft among the Gypsies at campsites in the French countryside, has headlined at Lincoln Center and shared stages with everyone from Elvis Costello to Patti Smith to The Roots. He scored and performed the theme for Woody Allen’s Oscar-winning film, “Midnight in Paris.” His recent compositions interweave elements of blues, jazz, flamenco, and Indian raga with the Django Reinhardt style of playing for which he is famous.

“Concerts in the Coop” is a monthly summer concert series at The Cooperage arranged by John Kascht that features “an eclectic range of seriously good music.”
