HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Dairy Princess Court will sponsor a Dairy Delights Recipe Contest at this year’s annual Wayne and Sullivan counties’ joint Dairy/Ag Day to be held Monday, February 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Honesdale High School.
The recipe must be a dessert or snack that contains butter, cheese, or yogurt. The recipe must be attached to the dish, which is due by 11 a.m. in the high school cafeteria. Entry tags are available on arrival. Judging will be done by 12 noon and winners announced at 2 p.m. There will be one winner from each category: butter, cheese and yogurt. Entrants must pick up their non-disposable dish by 2:30 p.m., or provide a disposable one.
Members of the dairy court and committee, judges and immediate family members are not eligible.
