NARROWSBURG, NY — The crowds enjoy roast pig, prepared 10 different ways by 10 chefs, along with a multitude of vegetarian fixings, at Pig Mountain 2. The festival was held on Saturday, August 11 on Main Street in Narrowsburg, and enjoyed balmy weather and an enthusiastic clientele despite a threat of thunderstorms early on in the day. The event was a benefit for Farmhearts (www.farmhearts.org), whose mission is “to help family farms in the Catskills, whether by lending assistance through grants, helping to bring added value to a farm’s existing products, offering grassroots support for marketing or distribution or helping open the door to the next generation of farmers.”
