HONESDALE, PA — Calkins Creamery and Fox Hill Farm, two neighboring farms, will host joint tours on Saturday, June 30 and Saturday, July 21. Tours begin at 8 a.m. at Calkins Creamery, 288 Calkins Road, and will conclude at 1 p.m. at 297 Fox Hill Rd., following a catered lunch. Tickets cost $50 and include tours of both farms and lunch. Tour dates are rain or shine.

Led by the owners and operators of the farms, tour participants can experience “chores” at Fox Hill Farm and the art of cheese making at Calkins Creamery, a registered Holstein dairy operation established in 1841. Cheesemaker Emily Montgomery produces farmstead artisan cheeses at the farm, using only natural ingredients. Fox Hill Farm, owned by Katharine and George Brown, raises 100% grass-fed beef and pastured poultry, and produces fresh cut seasonal flowers.
