CAG reopening exhibit themed ‘Patterns’

June 14, 2012

LIBERTY, NY — The members of the newly re-formed Catskill Artists Gallery (CAG) will exhibit recent work at the Liberty Museum & Arts Center, 46 South Main St., from June 15 through July 8. The exhibit will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There will be an artists’ reception with refreshments on Saturday, June 16, from 4 to 8 p.m.

In addition to the “Patterns” show, guests can view the museum’s permanent display of Sullivan County history, and hear about the museum’s plans for the future.

CAG recently closed its “bricks-and-mortar” store after nine years on Main Street in Liberty to become a “gallery without walls.” The eight members have built a new website (www.catskillartists, are attending art/craft fairs in various areas and are teaming up with other entities for local events.
