HONESDALE, PA — For the first time in its seven-year history, a scavenger hunt will be held at the Roots & Rhythm Music & Arts Festival on Saturday, June 16. Derek Williams, a Roots volunteer, conceived the idea and mapped out the rules and details. Northeast Wilderness Experience/Sawmill Cycles in Honesdale is donating the top prize, a kayak. “
“We’ll have items all over downtown Honesdale,” said Williams. Players will receive the first clue via a text message after they register. Williams encourages teams to form to rev up the competition. The top three teams will have the best chances to win the kayak in a separate drawing.
To register, email Williams at DW0591@gmail.com. Visit www.honesdalerootsandrhythm.com.
