MILFORD, PA — The Come Paint with Me© plein air artists’ program will celebrate the opening of its 15th season with a special event to be held at Grey Towers National Historic Site on Thursday, June 7 at 10 a.m. Hosted by the U.S. Forest Service at Grey Towers and the Grey Towers Heritage Association, program founder/coordinator Joan Polishook of Lords Valley will narrate a power-point program, “All About Plein Air Painting.” The event will include guest speakers, refreshments and souvenirs for each participating artist. After the program, artists will have the opportunity to paint on the grounds of Grey Towers as the 2012 plein air sessions formally begin.
All are invited to participate during the 20-week season of the plein air program, visiting not only Grey Towers, but many other interesting and historical locations selected for their natural aesthetic characteristics.
