Livingston Taylor kicks of Tusten Theatre season

NARROWSBURG, NY — Singer/songwriter Livingston Taylor will perform at the Tusten Theatre on Saturday, May 5 at 8 p.m. Livingston is equally at home with a range of musical genres—folk, pop, gospel, jazz—and from upbeat storytelling to touching ballads. Born in Boston and raised in North Carolina, Livingston is the fourth child in a very musical family that includes older brother James Taylor. He picked up his first guitar at the age of 13, beginning a 40-year career that has encompassed performance, songwriting and teaching.

With a style not unlike his iconic brother, Livingston is a natural performer, peppering his shows with personal stories, anecdotes and a humor that connects him to his audience.

Tusten Theatre is located at 210 Bridge St. Tickets cost $30 (DVAA members receive $2 discount) and are available by calling the Tusten Theatre box office at 845/252-7272.

The Tusten Theatre spring season continues on May 19 with The Speckers (John Specker & daughters); May 26 with Nancy and Spencer Reed with Sweet Sue Terry; and June 2 with Red Molly. Visit www.ArtsAllianceSite.org
