HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Woodsongs Coffeehouse at the Sullivan County Museum will feature Steve Lane (www.myspace.com/stevelanemusic) of Port Jervis on Saturday, April 7 at 6 p.m. Lane was raised in a farmhouse on old-time country music, and has become a noted alternative country music songwriter. He learned the guitar from his country-music father Don Lane and brother Dan, and other musicians that hung around their house when he was a child. His father will perform with him at the coffeehouse. The evening will also include a return performance by Van Manakas (www.vanmanakas.com). Manakas is recognized by the musical press as one of the most versatile and respected guitarists in the country.

The evening is sponsored by Steve’s Music of Rock Hill (www.stevesmusiccenter.com) and hosted by the Sullivan County Bluegrass and Americana band Little Sparrow. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission costs $5.
