PORT JERVIS, NY — Local financial advisory firm O’Donnell & Associates is donating its office space to host a showing of the works of three local fine artists. The showing will be held on the 2nd floor of the Historic Erie Depot Building, 15 Jersey Ave., 2nd Floor, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 10.
The artists are Anna B. Ruzsan, Joseph F. Petrosi and Stephen P. O’Donnell Sr. Ruzsan was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1962. She moved to the United States in 1990. Currently, she lives and works in Sparrowbush. She paints in watercolor, acrylic and oil. Ruzsan studied art at Greensboro College in North Carolina and at William Paterson College in New Jersey. He currently works in color pencil and is a member of the Color Pencil Society of America. O’Donnell is a self-taught Irish American emerging artist. Working with acrylic on canvas, he has produced over 30 paintings since beginning painting five months ago. Three of his original paintings, as well as several prints, have already been sold to collectors. He favors abstract, expressionist and minimalist styles.
