Honesdale Santa Parade

HONESDALE, PA — Participants are wanted for this year’s Santa Parade in Honesdale. The parade is scheduled for Friday, November 25 (rain date Saturday, November 26). Lineup will begin at 5 p.m. in the Top Notch parking area on Fourth Street, and the parade will kick off at 6 p.m. The parade will end in Central Park and be immediately followed by the borough’s traditional tree lighting ceremony.

Businesses, community groups, school groups and non-profit groups from all over the county and surrounding areas are welcome to participate in this fun holiday event. Liberty Holiday Parade

LIBERTY, NY — The Town of Liberty Parks and Recreation Department will host its first annual Town of Liberty Holiday Parade in conjunction with the town’s annual holiday tree lighting ceremony on Friday, December 2 at 6 p.m. Participants are sought to enter a float, decorate a vehicle, or march with their group/organization. Individuals who have trucks and trailers who would be willing to allow groups to decorate them for a float are also sought.

Line-up will begin at 5 p.m. at the municipal parking lots behind the Elks Lodge. The parade will commence through Main Street and end at the Liberty Elementary School. The snow date will be December 3. Call 845/292-7690.
