LIBERTY, NY — The “4-H Connects Kids to Cornell” meeting on Friday, November 11 invites the public, featuring a presentation by Beverly Hesse on what is involved in researching, appraising and showing collections. She will share examples from her state and national award-winning button collection. On display will be one-of-a-kind designs as well as production buttons dating from 1851 to contemporary times. A hands-on activity led by Sandy Cockshutte will show participants how to make their own unique buttons at home. The program will be held at the Cornell University Extension office in Liberty, starting at 6:30 p.m. Email mlr34@cornell.edu or call 845/292-6180, ext. 111.
