NARROWSBURG, NY — The Nancy & Spencer Reed Jazz Trio will perform at Narrowsburg’s Tusten Theatre on Saturday, October 29 at 8 p.m.

Nancy, a vocalist and bassist, and Spencer, a guitarist and vocalist, have both been regulars at famous jazz venues such as Delaware Water Gap Jazz Festival and the Deer Head Inn. Their forte is their vocal blend, with tight but natural phrasing and unusual harmony. They began their collaboration as teenagers in the Bronx and were influenced by the classic performances of Sarah Vaughan and Jackie and Roy. They offer an unusual selection of rarely heard tunes punctuated by unique treatments of jazz standards.
