“real/unreal” at CAS
October 13, 2011 —
LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Art Society will present “real/unreal,” an exhibition of photographic works by Frank Mullaney, at the CAS Arts Center, 48 Main Street, starting on Saturday, October 15. This exhibition explores the concept of artificiality, and how we use it to represent or reinterpret life and beauty, create utopian worlds, or escape the limitations of our physical existence. There will be an artist’s talk at 3 p.m., followed by the reception from 4 to 6 p.m.
Mullaney is a photographer, designer and writer who divides his time between New York City and Livingston Manor. His work has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Provincetown and the Catskills.
