NARROWSBURG, NY — Icehouse Arts will bring the 10th season of Kid Flix (ages 8-11) and Kid Flix (ages 12-18) to the Tusten-Cochecton branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library with two one-week workshops, one starting on August 14 and one on August 21. Hours are 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Workshops are limited to 12 participants.

Participants will write, shoot, direct and act in their own movie. The students will gain experience in script writing, camera techniques, sound, lighting, acting for camera and editing. At the end of the session, there will be a public screening and the participants receive a DVD copy of their movie.

These workshops are made possible in part by the Decentralization Grant from the New York Council on the Arts and the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.

The cost is $35. Email icehousearts@hotmail.com or call 845/252-6583.
