‘Frack’ to be presented at Beekman Pavilion

July 28, 2011

BETHEL, NY — Filmmaker David Morris will present a free showing of his documentary “Frack” on Friday, July 29 at the Beekman Pavilion, 10 Horseshoe Lake Road at 8 p.m. With the possible commencement of hydraulic fracturing in upstate New York within the next months, the film provides an introduction to the process and its potential impacts on Bethel and other Sullivan County towns.

The screening will take place at Bethel’s new outdoor venue, the Beekman Pavilion. The pavilion, which is situated behind the recently restored Beekman House, also houses the Java Love and The Bake Shop.

“This is the beginning of many outdoor film, theater and other events planned for Beekman Pavilion,” said Judith Maidenbaum, owner of Beekman House.

While the event is free to the public, donations are appreciated. RSVP to sacred ny@gmail.com.
