LAKE ARIEL, PA — PocoNotes will bring Northeastern Pennsylvania’s rockabilly band, RockABilly & the 45’s, to The Lodge at The Hideout on Saturday, July 9 at 8 p.m.

Rockabilly music has been described as a twangy fusion of country-western with rhythm and blues. It launched the legendary careers of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins, whose Sun Records sessions in December 1956 earned them the nickname “million dollar quartet.” It is also the seed from which rock ‘n’ roll was created.

The Lodge at The Hideout is located on Route 590 in Lake Ariel. Tickets cost $20 and are available through PocoNotes at www.PocoNotes.com or 888/800-POCO, or through The Hideout at 570/698-4100, ext. 109.
