BETHEL, NY — The release party for the new CD “Jazz in the Living Room,” with vocalist Donna Singer and The Doug Richards Trio, will be on Tuesday, June 21, from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Dancing Cat Saloon. Donna, Doug and the trio will perform songs from the CD and celebrate with a bevy of special guest artists. Donna Singer has been described as having “a voice so good it stops you in your tracks” (Chris Farlakas, Times Herald Record). Bassist Doug Richards has been a fixture in the worldwide jazz community for over 40 years. His trio includes pianist Billy Alfred (who toured with Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.) and Mike Cervone (a former Rascals drummer).
