Illuminations on exhibit

TWIN LAKES, PA — This illumination will be among the works exhibited at the first Amercian show of artist Gloria Gehl, a native of Canada and resident of Pennsylvania, on Saturday, June 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. in her garden, 106 Robert Road at Twin Lakes. The works on show will be illuminations based on 11th to 17th century manuscripts. The work is painted in gouache and watercolor, with 23 K gold leaf on acid free, hot-press watercolor paper. The pieces average four square inches. There will be approximately 30 framed pieces for sale. Gehl also studies nature and wildlife oil painting and her latest works will be on display.
