NARROWSBURG, NY — “Interpretations in Fiber,” opening on Friday, July 13 at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s Loft Gallery, 37 Main St., showcases the breath, imagination and variety of the award-winning and nationally recognized fiber artists who are members of a group known collectively as Fiber Revolution. The group exhibition, curated by Katharina Litchman, opens with a reception on July 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. Kevan Lunney, winner of the Surface Design Award 2012, will lead a gallery talk from 6:15 to 7 p.m.
Among the 19 artists in the exhibit are Virginia Abrams, Deborah J. Bein, Benedicte Caneill, Lisa Chipetine, Barbara Barrick McKie, Kris Gregson Moss, Wen Redmond and Kevan Lunney.
Free and open to the public, “Interpretations in Fiber” will be on view through August 4. It is sponsored by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, the Arts Council for Sullivan County, NY, and is made possible in part by a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
