WESTERN SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — The Western Sullivan Public Library (WSPL) will be participating in Take Your Child to the Library Day, an international initiative encouraging families to visit their local libraries. On Saturday, February 4, the Delaware Free, Jeffersonville, and Tusten-Cochecton branches of WSPL will have a scavenger hunt available for children of all ages to participate in during library hours. Everyone will receive a prize for participating.

The event will take place at the Delaware Free Branch in Callicoon from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch in Narrowsburg from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and at the Jeffersonville branch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Scavenger hunts for two different age levels will be available at all branches—explore the library and compete for prizes. There will also be snacks, Mad Libs, coloring, and a chance to fill out a library advocacy postcard for a drawing to win a prize basket. Registration is requested. Visit the library online at WSPLonline.org or call 845/887-4040.
