MILFORD, PA — Grey Towers National Historic Site will offer guided holiday tours of all three floors of the mansion from Monday, December 4 through Wednesday, December 20 at 1 and 3 p.m. The 1886 mansion, formerly the home of Gov. Gifford Pinchot, founder and first chief of the U.S. Forest Service, will once again be decorated by members of the Milford Garden Club.
The upper floors of the mansion usually are not open to the public, so these holiday tours are a special treat. And on Saturday, December 16, there will be a bonus: free musical performances of holiday favorites by students of the Delaware Valley School District.
Tour fees are $8 for adults; $7 for seniors; $5 for youth 12 and over; under 12 admitted free. Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more and are offered before 12 noon each day that the mansion is open for public tours. For more information email greytowers@fs.fed.us or visit www.fs.fed.us/greytowers.
