Honesdale, Main Street: Halloween Parade

6 p.m. lineup at Top Notch Parking Lot. Parade at 7 p.m.

October 27

NEW YORK

Bloomingburg, Town Park: Halloween Party

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Costume parade at 5:30 p.m., refreshments, haunted house, hay rides, bonfire, pumpkin patch, Halloween crafts, and more. Adults must accompany children (no drop-offs).

PENNSYLVANIA

Honesdale, The Cooperage: Halloween Contra Dance

7:30 to 10 p.m. Live music by Laura Courtright and Craig Gehrig. Beginners always welcome. Dancing lessons at 7:15 p.m. for beginners. Costumes welcome. Suggested donation: $10, kids under 15/free. 570/253-2020.

Glen Spey, Catskill Mountains Resort: Haunted Happenings

6 p.m. to 12 midnight. Haunted house, outdoor Halloween movies, pick a pumpkin to paint, face painting and more. Adults only.

Callicoon, Delaware Youth Center: Children’s Costume Parade

1 to 4 p.m. The Delaware Youth Center sponsors a children’s costume parade down Main Street for the children in our community. Line up 12:45 p.m. behind the Delaware Free Library, parade begins at 1 p.m.. Games and treats at the Youth Center following the parade. For information call 845-887-5155.

Callicoon, Delaware Youth Center: Halloween Dance

7 to 10 p.m. Dance for 21 and over.Prizes for best costumes; bring your own snacks and refreshments.

Livingston Manor, The Kaatskeller: Community Halloween Party

12 noon to 3 p.m. The Livingston Manor Free Library and The Kaatskeller hold a community Halloween Party with pizza, scary stories, a costume contest, games and more. For students in grades K through sixth. Parents and siblings welcome. For more information call 845/439-5440.

Narrowsburg, Main Street and Town Hall: Costume parade and party

3:30, lineup for children’s costume parade; 4 to 8 p.m., party at town hall. Main Street. Parade lineup is at the feed mill. Parade ends at town hall, where the dancing and karaoke begin with music by DJ Steve. $10 per adult, children free, includes dinner of either chili or hot dogs. 

Narrowsburg, The Emerald Ballroom, Main Street:

8 p.m. Heron Halloween Party and Costume Contest.

Rock Hill, YMCA of Sullivan County: Halloween Festival

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Trunk or Treat, haunted trail, spooky boat ride, games and snacks. Free.

White Lake, 3460 Rte. 55: Halloween Parade, Party and Haunted House

3 to 7 p.m. For children up to age 10. Costume parade steps off at 3:15. Refreshments and games follow. Haunted house for grades two to five. Rain or shine.

Trail of Treats

Damascus, Damascus Community Center: Haunted Night

6 to 8 p.m. Trunk or Treat, trick-or-treat bag, costume contest, coloring contest, games, prizes and refreshments for purchase.  $2/child, $5/family. All proceeds go for school supplies for the Damascus School Supply Closet and flood victims.

Honesdale, The Cooperage:

Halloween Bash

7 to 11 p.m. The Wayne County Arts Alliance hosts a Halloween Bash featuring band Steppin Eddy and a costume contest for adults. Narrowsburg, The Flats Playground: Community Trunk or Treat

6 p.m. Hosted by the Tusten Youth Commission, kids can enjoy pizza, juice, glow sticks and candy. If you would like to enter your trunk email tustenyouth@yahoo.com.

Yulan, Firemen’s Field: Trunk or Treat

5 p.m. The Yulan Fire Department partners with the Eldred United Methodist Church to present a Trunk or Treat with hay rides, a bonfire and tours of the fire trucks along with refreshments. Parents and community members are encouraged to wear costumes and bring treats in their cars. In the past, this event has been held at Peck’s in Eldred.

PENNSYLVANIA

Hawley, Church and Main: Halloween Parade

5 p.m. lineup at Church and Main. Parade steps off at 5:30 p.m., proceeds to tennis courts in Bingham Park for costume judging.
