NARROWSBURG, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance will present folk duo EVA at the Tusten Theatre in Narrowsburg on Saturday, November 4 at 7 p.m. With breathtaking voices rooted in Ireland, the UK and the U.S., EVA performs a seamless mix of traditional and contemporary original folk music, with powerful vocal harmonies backed by a textured landscape of guitar, piano and percussion.

Featuring Liz Simmons and Nicole Zuraitis, EVA has toured with legendary singer/songwriters Livingston Taylor (brother to James Taylor) and Tom Chapin (three-time Grammy winner and brother to Harry Chapin).

Local audiences may remember Simmons from her recent appearances at the Tusten Theatre as part of folk bands Long Time Courting (2015) and Low Lily (2016). Dirty Linen Magazine called her “A honey-voiced singer… with winsome ease and genuine feeling.”

Zuraitis is a Brooklyn-based vocalist, songwriter and pianist. She has been praised by the Hartford Courant as having “an emotive voice with seductive warmth,” and Jazz Inside Magazine says her voice is “hard to ignore... remarkable range... you can’t help but stop and take notice.”

Tickets cost $20 advance/$25 at the door and can be purchased at 845/252-7272 or www.delawarevalleyartsalliance.org. The Tusten Theatre is located at 210 Bridge St.
