EQUINUNK, PA — Manchester Library will hold two blow-out book sales: the first on Saturday, November 18 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and the second on Saturday, December 2, also 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
The library is buried in books of all description—popular fiction, history, human interest, biographies, action thrillers, romance, cooking and craft books, some children’s books and more—including new or like-new suitable for holiday gift giving. Paperbacks are sold for a nickel apiece and hard covers for $0.50 each, no matter the size. All sales benefit the library and help keep its doors open in the coming year.
Come for a cup of coffee and a cookie or two. You can fill a box or bag (or both) with your winter reading material and set your own price; make a donation to the library.
The library closes from early December to the first week of April. It is located off Route 191, about two miles south of Equinunk’s village center. Call 570/224-8500 for information.
