Monticello Police arrested Ollen Eck (28) of Monticello on Friday 2/28/14. Eck was charged with felony burglary in the 2nd degree and misdemeanor petit larceny. Monticello Police arrested Daniel Ridley (28) of Monticello on Friday 2/28/14. Ridley was charged with felony assault in the 2nd degree and misdemeanor menacing in the 2nd degree. Ridley was arrested after Monticello police received a complaint from a 29 year-old Monticello woman reporting that Ridley had punched her in the face and also displayed what appeared to be a revolver and threatened to kill her. On March 2nd, 2014 State Police arrested Robert Ramirez, age 24 of Middletown, NY after an investigation into the theft of a 2013 BMW X6 that occurred on July 2, 2013. At that time, the owner of the vehicle reported the vehicle stolen from an address in the Town of Liberty. The vehicle was located in the City of Middletown on July 7th, 2013 by Troopers from the Middletown barracks. Read more
On March 2, 2014 State Police at Liberty responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on State Route 55 in Swan Lake. Upon the arrival of responding troopers, they learned that Alan Yeneic, age 23, of Swan Lake had just threatened two subjects with a knife and that he had fled prior to the arrival of patrols.
