Highland Physicians welcomes Jessica Giannetti

HONESDALE, PA — Highland Physicians, Ltd. recently announced the addition of Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Jessica Giannetti to their staff. Giannetti obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Wilkes University. She received her Master’s in Science of Nursing and Master of Science Family Practice Practitioner degrees from the University of Scranton.  Read more

Driver Safety Class

Delaware Youth Center offers the NTSI six-hour New York State Driver Safety Course from 9am–3:30pm sponsored by Catskill Hudson Bank. Doors open at 8:30am. Food pantries: mission and support

BEACH LAKE, PA — At the Sunday service on December 8 of the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (UDUUF), Eileen Hennessy of the Narrowsburg Ecumenical Food Pantry will present a service about the mission and needs of the food pantry. She will talk about her involvement with the Narrowsburg Food Pantry and the importance of volunteering. Woodloch Pines breaks world record

HAWLEY, PA — Woodloch Pines Resort guests, volunteers, staff and family members recently broke the Guinness Book of World Records for assembling the most hunger relief bags in under three minutes. The task took place Saturday, November 23 from 2 to 2:03 p.m. While Guinness still has to review and finalize, the team of 414 exceeded the goal, putting together 656 bags in 78 seconds.  Read more
