Story time
The Literacy Volunteers of Sullivan County will sponsor a Story Time from 11am to 12pm on the first Saturday of the month at the Read It Again Bookstore. All children must be accompanied by an adult, who will remain with them throughout the hour. Stories will be read to the children, and an activity will follow, time permitting. Story Time is open to all children in grades K-3, and is free. 845/794-0017.
Wonderful Waterfowl
Join birder extraordinaire John Haas at Haven Road, just off Route 209 south of Wurtsboro, 8:30am. You will see an array of migrating waterfowl and learn to differentiate between the many species who stop here on their way north.
