Nurses aid arrested for theft on pain patches

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office has concluded a two month investigation into the theft of narcotic pain patches from patients at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty.
On Wednesday August 29, 2012, Sheriff's Detectives arrested 37 year old Robin Nash, a nurse’s aid, of Neversink, NY, and charged her with larceny, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with evidence. Supervisors at the County's nursing home alerted deputies in late June when they noticed Fentanyl patches missing from several patients at the facility.  Read more

MONTICELLO MAN ARRESTED FOR DWI AFTER GETTING STUCK IN A DITCH

On 9/1/12 a Trooper stationed in Liberty observed a vehicle on Old Liberty Road in the Town of Thompson that was stuck in a ditch. The Operator, Colin Davis, age 22, of Monticello, NY was interviewed by Troopers and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was eminating from his breath. Davis was placed under arrest for DWI and was transported to SP Liberty. He provided a breath sample of .14% and was issued an Appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Thompson Court on 9/12/12.

Traffic stop leads to DWI arrest of Male from Yulan, NY

On 8/25/12 a Trooper from the Liberty barracks conducted a roputine traffic stop for a V&T violation. Further investigation revealed that Kurt Abrahamson, Age 27, of Yulan NY was in an intoxicated condition. He was transported to Liberty where he provided a breath sample of .15%. He was issued an Appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Bethel Court.
