Why vote?

I have not heard either the Republicans or the Democrats explain why gas prices are so high. Would this explain how Exxon-Mobil makes a $20 billion profit per quarter? Does oil being pumped out of Texas go to the Bahamas, get stamped as foreign registry and come back as imported?

Mitt Romney wants to increase offshore drilling. Guess who benefits from this: the oil companies, since the country is based on the automobile and oil-based products such as plastics.

In a world that is getting more confusing daily, I think of things like should we drill for oil and gas in the USA? Should we keep sending billions of dollars to buy oil from hostile nations that build up their military and give money to terrorists? What about being for traditional marriage, like Chik-fil-a, is that person really a “hater”? Is divorce or abortion really the answer to a family’s problems?
