Wurtsboro man arrested for menacing with firearm
On April 1, 2012, The New York State Police in Wurtsboro announce the arrest of Bradley N. Jennex, age 32, of Wurtsboro, NY, for the felony charges of Criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, Reckless endangerment in the first degree and the misdemeanor charge of Menacing in the second. The Honesdale Borough Police report the arrest of 62 year old Alexander Karachun of Honesdale for DUI. On 3/15/12 at approximately 3:45 pm, Karachun was observed in an intoxicated state at the Wayne County Courthouse. Karachun was observed getting into the drivers side of a white pickup truck at Central Park by a Sheriff’s Deputy. Honesdale Borough Police were notified and Karachun was stopped on Grandview Ave.
Karachun was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI. Charges for DUI were filed at the Wayne County Courthouse. Ptlm Thacher is the arresting officer.
Sleeping woman assaulted in Honesdale
The Honesdale Borough Police are seeking information in finding the assailant that entered a woman’s apartment on Main Street and assaulted her. This incident occurred on March 30th at approximately 10:30 p.m. Read more
