PA Sate Police seek hit and run driver in Palmyra Township
Pennsylvania State Police in Honesdale recieved a report of a one-vehicle collision on Columbus Avenue in Palmyra Township on April 29. When Trooper Warner arrived on the scene he discovered that a utility pole had been knocked down by a vehicle driven by Daniel Wolk of Hawley. Read more
Neversink man pleads guilty to sex with 12-year-old
District Attorney Jim Farrell announced today that Paul Curry, age 37, of Neversink, N.Y. entered a plea of guilty to Rape in the 1st Degree, a class B violent felony. Curry admitted to having sexual intercourse with a twelve year old child in the Town of Neversink on July 18, 2011. Read more
Monticello man convicted again as head of huge drug conspiracy
District Attorney Jim Farrell announced that Adam Bloom, age 29, of Monticello, N.Y., was sentenced to an aggregate 19 years in state prison and 5 years of post release supervision for his role as the head of a large scale drug conspiracy in Sullivan County by County Judge Michael McGuire. Monticello man admits killing, dismembering girlfriend
District Attorney Jim Farrell announced that Lars Ryder, age 23, of Monticello, N.Y. entered a plea of guilty to Manslaughter in the 1st Degree, a class B violent felony, in Sullivan County Court today under the terms of a plea agreement that will see him spend the next 25 years in state prison and 5 years of post release supervision at the end of his prison time.
