Chancellor Livingston, LLC withdraws from Apollo project
Monticello - Chancellor Livingston LLC, previously designated by the County Legislature as the preferred developer for the East Broadway Redevelopment Project (The former Apollo Mall property and the former Landfill Phase II property) has notified County officials that they are withdrawing from this project. Sullivan County will recognize their withdraw, and the County Legislature will consider options that will move the development of the area forward. Read more

JOSEPH JOHN DUCZEMINSKI SR.
Joseph John Duczeminski Sr., of Cuddebackville, NY, died on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis. He was 89.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 29 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 30 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown, NY.
Burial, with Military honors, will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Henry C. Schnetzler
Henry C. Schnetzler of Narrowsburg, NY a retired mechanic from Narrowsburg Motors, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012. He was 65. The son of the late William and Anna Branat Schnetzler , he was born December 10, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY.
Henry served in US Navy and served on the USS Ling, USS Seacat and the USS Dogfish.
