“The Glass Menagerie” comes to Monticello

MONTICELLO, NY — The Forestburgh Theatre Arts Center (FTAC) will present three performances of Tennessee Williams’ play “The Glass Menagerie” from September 30 to October 2 at the Eugene D. Nesin Theatre, 22 St. John Street. Performances are scheduled for Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, October 2 at 3 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for students, $15 for seniors and $20 for general admission.  Read more

Wiseman solos in ‘Actionable’

HIGHLAND LAKE, NY — Canadian musical legend Bob Wiseman will give a solo theatre performance, “Actionable,” at NACL Theatre on Saturday, October 1 at 8 p.m.

Wiseman was a member of popular rock group, Blue Rodeo, and has performed in concert with Wilco, Feist, The Wallflowers, Ron Sexsmith and many others.  Read more

‘Music of Our Time’

NARROWSBURG, NY — The 21st annual “Music of Our Time” concert comes to Tusten Theatre at 210 Bridge St. on Saturday, October 1 at 8 p.m. It will feature the world premiere of a new work by Larry Lockwood (Neversink, NY), the “Oboe Concerto,” with Molly Raum performing the solo oboe part, accompanied by the Delaware Valley Chamber Orchestra conducted by John Yaffé.  Read more

GRAHAMSVILLE, NY — The 26th Annual Giant Pumpkin Party and Children’s Parade will be held on Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Grahamsville.
