The Upper Delaware Scenic Byway has passed a resolution that urges all levels of government to exercise their authority to prohibit heavy trucks involved in “new forms of heavy industrial use and mining” from New York State Route 97. Read more

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has added five more regional wineries to its already robust line-up. A 23-year-old man from Hawley has been arrested after leading police on a chase with speeds reaching up to 110 miles per hour. Richard Chicoski was operating a green sedan without license plate lights, and Trooper Winniberg attemepted to pull him over. But instead of slowing down, Chicoski increased speed. Read more
