Senator Bonacic Co-Sponsors Caylee's Law
State Senator John J. Bonacic has signed on to co-sponsor the Senate’s Protect Our Children’s Act/ Caylee’s Law. The legislation recognizes serious forms of child abuse that are not adequately covered by existing law, to better protect our children. Read more
Assemblywoman Gunther Accepting Donations to Veterans’ Food Pantry
Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther (D,C-Forestburgh) has partnered with the Monticello Veterans’ Food Pantry and agreed to designate her office as a drop-off point for donations to the pantry. Read more
Three Gunther Bills Signed Into Law by Governor
Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther (D, C - Forestburgh) announced today that three bills recently sent to Governor Cuomo for his action have been signed into law. Gunther passed 17 two-house bills during this past legislative session. Two have already been acted earlier this year. Today’s action by the Governor will improve the safety of our judges and streamline healthcare practices. Read more
Marino Concerned about Pharmacy Benefits Manager Merger
U.S. Rep. Tom Marino, PA-10, expressed his concerns regarding the proposed merger of pharmacy benefit management giants Express Scripts and Medco. The agreement, announced today by the two companies, is valued at $29.1 billion and would consolidate two of the three largest pharmacy benefit management firms. Read more
