Jimmy Schwartz of Starlight, PA, formerly of Weston, CT, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, in the Community Medical Center. He was 76.
He and his wife, the former Sari Facher, celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on November 20.

Son of the late Anton and Johanna Gargar Siegl, he was born on March 13, 1946 in the Bronx, NY.
A hard and dedicated worker, Walter was a dockworker for Dellwood Dairy in Yonkers, NY and also worked for Foam & Wash Car Wash. An avid fisherman, known for his sense of humor, Walter loved his family and put others’ needs before his own. Read more

He was born in South Bend, IN on November 23, 1947 to Lillian and Gordon Hardy. He grew up in New York City, Aspen, CO and Durham, CT. His mother is a painter and his father is past dean of students at the Julliard School and a past president of the Aspen Music Festival. Read more

HONESDALE, PA — There will be a meeting of the Delaware Highlands Mushroom Society (DHMS) on Monday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Honesdale Wellness Center at 602 Church Street. The society was started last year as an organization bringing together fungi enthusiasts and those interested in learning about mushrooms.
